State Science Fair

The 69th annual Oklahoma State Science and Engineering Fair will take place
Friday, April 2, 2027 at the Wes Watkins Center on the OSU Stillwater campus.

The 2027 schedule will be shared closer to the event. OSSEF 2027 will follow a similar schedule to OSSEF 2026, shared here.


Tentative 2027 Schedule

Friday, April 2

7:30 am - 9:30 am        Registration, Set-up, Display & Safety inspections

9:45 - 9:55 am              Student Welcome

10:00 am - 12:30 pm   Judging - Senior Division & Junior Division

10:30 - 12:00 pm             Teacher & Parent Workshop

12:30 - 1:45 pm              Lunch Break (on your own)

1:45 - 2:30 pm                 OSSEF Open House - Public Viewing

1:45 pm - 3:30 pm        ISEF Finalist Interviews

2:30 - 2:40 pm              Remove projects from Exhibit Hall

2:45 - 4:15 pm             OSSEF Fun Zone

4:30 - 5:30 pm             Celebration Party (music, refreshments)

5:30 pm                         OSSEF Awards Ceremony

OSSEF Community Open House

The Open House for OSSEF 2027 will be held the afternoon of Friday, April 2, 2027.

Student participants will be beside their projects and community members, friends, and family are welcome to attend.

OSSEF Grand Awards Ceremony

The 2027 OSSEF awards and keynote presentations will take place at on the evening of  Friday, April 2nd.

Oklahoma ISEF finalists should use the Rules Wizard to confirm which forms and materials are required to register for ISEF. Up to four OSSEF projects will be selected to compete at the 2027 Regeneron International Science and Engineering Fair.

Junior Innovators Challenge

Nominees from OSSEF (grades 6-8) will be announced at the Grand Awards Ceremony and provided with additional information about completing their application to represent Oklahoma in the Thermo Fisher Scientific Junior Innovators Challenge.
