Information for Judges

Judging at the Oklahoma State Science and Engineering Fair provides excellent  opportunities for service and outreach. 


Oklahoma State University hosts the Oklahoma State Science and Engineering Fair (OSSEF) event and serve as the oversight manager for the eight Regional Fairs across Oklahoma. The 2025 Oklahoma State Science and Engineering Fair will be held on the OSU Stillwater campus, Friday March 7, 2025. High school and junior high students who conducted STEM research, competed in one of eight Regional Fairs, and were selected to advance to the state level of competition will come to the OSU campus and compete in one of the following ten categories:

  • Animal Science (ANIM)
  • Behavioral and Social Sciences (BEHA)
  • Biochemistry and Chemistry (BIOCH)
  • Biomedical and Health Sciences (BMHS)
  • Earth and Environmental Sciences (EAEV)
  • Engineering (ENGN)
  • Mathematics and Computer Science (MACS)
  • Microbiology (MICR)
  • Physics and Astronomy (PHYS)
  • Plant Sciences (PLNT)
